Brand Identity and Packaging Design
Client: Just Check Ltd
Role: Lead Designer
Just Check was a new at home health testing brand with only a name and a goal. They needed a complete identity that felt trustworthy, calm, and simple to use. The visual language, packaging direction, tone of voice, and information design all needed to communicate reassurance and clarity from the first moment a customer saw the product.
The Idea.
“Confidence through clarity.”
Create a brand that transforms complex medical information into something calm and approachable. Use a soft colour palette, structured typography, and a friendly tone to give users reassurance while maintaining the seriousness of medical testing.
The Execution.
I developed the entire brand system from the ground up, including the logo, typography, style, colours, layout approach, and tone of voice. I designed the complete packaging direction for each test kit, placing strong emphasis on readability and clear, step-by-step instructions. Instruction sheets, supporting inserts, and all front-facing information were carefully planned to help users fully understand biomarkers, their results, and the appropriate next steps without ever feeling overwhelmed. The overall identity was thoughtfully created to expand seamlessly as new tests and product lines are introduced in the future.
The Result.
A full medical testing brand built from the ground up.
Just Check launched with a strong and credible identity that effectively helped customers feel supported and reassured throughout the entire testing process. Garnering 1,000 sign-ups in the first two weeks, the brand demonstrated immediate market interest and trust. The thoughtful packaging design direction significantly improved user understanding and confidence, making at-home testing feel much more accessible and approachable.
This well-established brand identity set a solid foundation for future product expansion across multiple health categories, ensuring scalability and trust as the range grows.
